- The first Vector
Game from Atari with a horizontal Black & White Vector CRT
(19") is
an adoption of a basic program that was floating already quite long as
text-only game on various mainframes and mini computers, but now this
uses a graphical display with fast redraw rates and made it a real-time
game. Developed by Howard (Howie) Delman.

Controls
- A thrust
handle (analog input), two buttons for left/right trun and an abort
button to stop the current landing procedure.
PCB's - The main PCB has a 6502A 8-bit CPU
with 1.5Mhz
clock rate. The second PCB is the Audio-Regulator-1 for regulating the
+5V DC and sound amplification.
Monitor - The
Monitor is a 19" Electrohome G05-801 xy b/w vector monitor. It accepts
the x,y signal driving the deflection coils and the Z signal for beam
intensity or blanking. The monitor gets the power (AC) from the Power
Supply in the rear bottom of the cabinet.
